Three block-print designs, each one embroidered inside with the couple’s names, shipped empty so the family could fill them their way.
They had seen the bags at another wedding and wanted something similar. So we went and found them.
Time was short. When we reached the vendor there wasn’t enough of any single fabric to make a hundred and twenty-five bags. So we made three block-print designs instead of one. The family liked it better that way.
Inside each bag we embroidered the couple’s names and the date of their wedding. Not printed on a tag that gets thrown away. Stitched into the lining, where it stays.
The bags shipped empty. The family filled them themselves, with hydration kits and the things they knew their guests would want after a long flight.
