The groom’s mother had already decided what was going inside it: a stainless steel designer tray. She also knew what it was worth, which is a harder brief than it sounds. Nothing to discover, nobody to persuade, and someone who would notice immediately if we got the price wrong.
We sourced it for less than she could. A month before the wedding they added matching bags and name tags. We sourced and delivered without moving the shipping date.
